We have lots of exciting news to report!
The Crest in Bloomington has added a much-welcomed Assistant Manager to their staff. Jennifer Surber joined Amanda White (Community Manager) at the start of the New Year, just in time to help handle the 2009/10 leasing season. She will also be assisting at City Flats at Renwick when it is ready to start its lease-up. Jennifer has been working in property management in the Bloomington area for the past couple of years but was more involved in the administrative/operations/human resources side of the business. She is excited to now be working on-site and is up to the challenges it will offer. Jennifer is a recent I.U. Kelley School of Business graduate with a minor in Spanish. We welcome Jennifer and wish her great success at The Crest and City Flats!
We also have added to our Construction Division. Although a lot of you had the opportunity to meet him at the holiday party, we have not officially announced the hiring of Jeffrey Bourff, Construction Superintendent on this blog. Jeff is overseeing our new project in Bloomington, City Flats at Renwick. Jeff brings lots of multifamily-building experience to this position, after working 25 years for Gunstra builders. He hit the ground running when he started in late October with the bid process and he is now ensconced on site in the construction trailer where things are really starting to move down there! Best of luck to Jeff on this exciting new project!
And we have had a couple of promotions! Lydia Miller has been promoted to Community Manager at Linden Square, as Kelly Kichler has decided to work part-time after the birth of her son. Lydia has really grown and developed into a great leader of this team and we know she will achieve much success at the helm of Linden Square. Also, Ashley Simons has been promoted to Community Manager at The Waverley! Ashley has had great tutelage working with Kristen Hyden (Pebble Brook) and Rachel Niemeyer (North Haven) and was ready to accept the challenge of becoming the new Manager at The Waverley! Congratulations, Lydia and Ashley!! We know great things lie ahead for both of you!
And we would like to acknowledge Mike Cropper’s contributions to the maintenance team at The Waverley. Mike is our current Maintenance Super until such time as a full-time Supervisor is hired and our upcoming construction projects are once again ready for his services. Thank you, Mike!
