J.C. Hart Company is pleased to announce the hiring of Michael J. Hart as a Financial Analyst in the Accounting/Finance department. Michael will assist the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Charlie Kurtz, in securing construction financing and permanent financing as well as performing real estate tax valuations, business valuations, refinancing, financial statement and portfolio analysis.
Michael has spent the past two years with Katz, Sapper & Miller in audit advisory services where he was responsible for several multi-family engagements. Previously, Michael served internships with CB Richard Ellis in Indianapolis and Holliday Fenoglio Fowler where he provided financial analysis on asset valuations and credit underwriting for asset sales, refinancing and permanent debt placement. Michael also served as an intern for J.C. Hart Company where he provided economic and financial modeling and analysis.
Michael is a CPA and his skills, qualifications and experience will enable him to successfully fulfill the responsibilities of this position and contribute to the long term success of the J.C. Hart Company.

J.C. Hart Company is also pleased to announce the promotion of Jane Garceau to Director of Corporate Communications. Jane, a thirteen year Associate, continues to be a valuable Associate to J.C. Hart Company and her new position will expand her duties and help J.C. Hart increase its presence in the community.Jane’s new duties will include assisting the Director of Marketing with company press releases and cultivating relations with the media. She will be attending meetings and activities with the Chamber of Commerce for Indianapolis, Carmel and Westfield, which will enhance our participation with these groups. In addition, she will oversee involvement with charitable community organizations such as United Way, Komen Race for the Cure, St. Mary’s Child Center and Oaks Academy-- all of which are the benefactors of donations from J.C. Hart Company.
