Shining Stars



J.C. Hart Company celebrated its Shining Stars on Wed., Feb. 25th at its annual dinner and awards ceremony, this year held at the Ritz Charles in Carmel. Communities and individuals were recognized for their outstanding achievements in 2008.

Our community winners were:
Oak Lake at Crooked Creek - Best Sustained Occupancy, averaging 95.35% for the year.
Gateway Crossing - Most Improved Community for its 14.9% increase in Physical Occupancy and 19.14% increase in Economic Occupancy.
Oak Lake at Crooked Creek - Most Improved Community for its 15.49% increase in Total Collections and 27.35% increase in Net Operating Income!
Stonebridge - Community of the Year for its sustained occupancy for the year of 94.2%, an NOI of 20.72%, Economic Occupancy of 90.81%, and their staff who consistently receives high ranks on service cards and resident comments.

Individuals who were recognized for milestone anniversaries and loyal service to J.C. Hart were:
Mark Juleen - 5 years
Victoria Helm - 5 years
Chad Ewbank - 5 years
Randy Beach - 5 years
Ed Keown - 15 years
Mark, Victoria, Chad and Randy each received a J.C. Hart pen set and a $100 Visa gift card. Ed will receive a $1,500 gift check.

Award of Excellence - This Associate strives towards our Core Values of Passion, Integrity, Development, Innovation and Teamwork everyday. She is passionate about every touchpoint she has with a resident and always has the company’s best interest in mind. She is always open to learning new way to better herself. She is a team player that we have counted on for almost nine years. In that time shehas generated over $5 million in revenue through 559 leases. For her continued excellence, Lisa Hawkins received J.C. Hart’s Award of Excellence.
